The ELEVEN FOOT MODEL PROJECT!

Just started this to prove a point, will edit later and add much more... BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Now, by showing the bridge in the ridiculous 35.5 degree offset, overlayed over view of the bridge exterior and by setting the bridge such that the lower step just goes into the framework you can see that even with a straight on shot of just the bridge, the set would just fit inside. this is without jiggering any of the dimensions. this means that even at its longest extent it fits. Now with some very minor tweeking you can have one foot thick walls and things can still work and yet, some people want to cling to the ridiculous notion that the bridge was skewed 35 degrees to accommodate the turbolift.

Most recent work..... More to come... A little more shaping and sanding and this is close to going to the Vacuum former... Woohoo!

This is the recent work done on the bridge and BC Deck, also, please note, the small interiors are directly related to this build as they are being used as trial runs.. This work was all done by hand.

Update showing some of the interiors that will be going into the 11 foot model. These are models and that my friend and I worked on to correct and make accurate. There are others in the works like the Transporter room and the Engineering Deck. I'm building these mock ups in various scales including 350th and 4X to get a feel for them, before creating the sets for the larger model.

Below is a scaled interior, overlayed over a scaled bridge. The Bridge Exterior is 6" same size as the actual bridge on the eleven foot model which is in HO Scale. The interior was scaled to the full sized bridge sets seen in the series and was then scaled down to the appropriate HO Scale! There is room for it to fit...

Now here are three pictures that show exactly what I used as references..... TOS Screencaps and John Heilman's 2002 profile which I have permission to use.

More to come on this I'm sure. LOL!
