Here is a collections of old Retro Rockets and Sci-Fi Pulp and Comic covers. This is just one Small part of a collection of Retro stuff that I have on my HD. I will be adding to this on occasion. Look at some of the authors included in some of the book covers. Many of these guys went on to win Nebula and Hugo awards for writing. The artists, many of which were ad artists, comic artists and pin up artists that also became legends in their field.
